Founder’s Corner: eTuk’s journey to success!

While visiting a small town in Guatemala, friends and business partners Michael Fox (Director of Sales and Marketing), Collin Sommer (Director of Manufacturing), and Walid Moutada (CEO) discovered Tuk Tuks. The trio decided to bring the three-wheeled vehicles to their hometown of Denver, Colorado and eTuk was born!

Idea to Market

After researching the idea, the team connected with the Tuk Tuk Factory in Amsterdam. Now, they have an exclusive license to manufacture and distribute Tuk Tuks in the USA. eTuks are street legal electric vehicles sold in a B2B capacity across the US. As of October 25, eTuk has sold 100 vehicles (and counting)! The company’s innovative approach to customizing the vehicles has allowed it to serve customers like wineries, hotels, food and coffee trucks, store fronts for entrepreneurs, and limo services. Last week, eTuk was featured on Shark Tank, powering a tech toy company, SmartGurlz.

eTuk has sold vehicles in over 48 cities, 26 states, and exports to Canada and Mexico. In addition to being completely electric the vehicles have the following features:

  • Eco friendly
  • Long range
  • High capacity
  • Low operating costs
  • Customizable
  • Unique and fun appearance
  • Highest quality design
  • Safety first
  • Road worthy and street legal
Revenue Streams

eTuk sells a passenger vehicle (the “eTuk Limo”) and a commercial vehicle (the “eTuk Vendor” and “eTuk Raw”). The eTuk Limo serves as a shuttle for corporate campuses, hospitality resorts/clubs, and college campuses. The eTuk Vendor serves a different crowd, startup entrepreneurs. The vehicle is customized and transformed for companies looking for market entry and marketing/activation platforms with a differentiated vehicle.
