Jessica has been practicing trademark law since 1990. She started in the pre-internet dark ages at an IP boutique in New York City, then moved to Seattle, where she worked at large law firms. Technology finally made it easy to go solo, which she did in 2007, and she and her practice settled here in Colorado in 2008. Trademark law is a natural for her – she loves words and language and making words and language work for her clients.
Jessica is active in the trademark community through her blog, BeautyMarks and is a member of her homeowners’ association board, where she continually reminds the other members that she has no legal expertise in anything other than trademark law.
Jessica graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a concentration in French Civilization, (which is much more useful than you’d think), and received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
Jessica enjoys skiing, cooking, wine, travel, wine travel, her trademark litigator husband, their two college-aged daughters, and the dogs said daughters forced her to live with.
