Darcy functions as outside general counsel for early stage companies, providing advice relating to commercial transactions, website agreements, privacy matters, and everything in between. Darcy’s expertise is in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and she prides herself on creative problem-solving for her clients. She enjoys working with companies across a range of industries, from technology to software to consumer goods. Darcy started her legal career as a transactional lawyer at a large, international firm in Boston, transitioned to a smaller corporate practice in Denver, and worked for several years as in-house counsel for the world’s largest manufacturer of mozzarella cheese. With significant experience as both in-house and external counsel, Darcy is an insightful and well-rounded lawyer.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION
Darcy received her BA, with distinction, from Yale University, where she studied History and Political Science, and her JD from Boston College Law School.
Darcy is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US).
IRL
Darcy is an avid runner, reader, traveler, mountain biker, and Peloton enthusiast. In 2017, she spent eight months traveling around the world with her husband and then two-year-old daughter, visiting four continents and eleven countries.
